Bird Survey

The 2025 Friends of Ilkley Moor Bird Survey has recently been published. This is the result of a collaboration between the Friends of Ilkley Moor and the Wharfedale Naturalists Society. The survey data was collected between April and June 2025 and identified more than 60 different bird species on Ilkley Moor, with the Meadow pipit, Red grouse and Willow warbler all showing an abundance of  >100 birds.

The Bird Survey will be repeated in 2026.
