Before undertaking a walk take sensible precautions such as wearing suitable outdoor footwear, check the weather forecast and take suitable wet/poor weather clothing, make sure you can read a map and take a mobile phone.

Crawshaw Moss & Neolithic Sites

Two walks, each of about 4 miles that can easily be combined into one walk of about 7 miles. The individual walks will take 2-2.5 hours; the combined walk 3-4 hours

Cow & Calf

This walk only takes about an hour and takes you from the popular parking place at the Cow & Calf Rocks to the quieter areas beyond.

It is very easy underfoot, on a good but rough path which has muddy patches after rain.

White Wells Moorland

This walk takes you from the edge of the town on to the high moor, with wide views across Ilkley and the Wharfe Valley.

Twelve Apostles & Beyond

This walk takes about two and a half hours, starting at White Wells car park. Climbing to the highest point on the Moor, the walk includes areas of archaeological and geological interest.

Cup & Ring Stones GPS Trail

There are over 400 known Cup & Ring Stones on Rombalds Moor which includes Ilkley Moor. The stones were carved during the Neolithic-Bronze Age
