Volunteering

Ilkley Moor volunteer days

The Friends of Ilkley Moor (FoIM) have organised a series of volunteer days for the local community to carry out conservation activities on Ilkley Moor.

The FoIM endeavour to offer worthwhile volunteering experiences to build peoples understanding and skills in the conservation of upland habitats.

We have many exciting and varied opportunities for volunteers. During 2008 volunteer groups carried out heathand restoration, access creation and building stone walls. In 2009 the FoIM, in partnership with Bradford Council, will be carrying out woodland conservation, upper tarn restoration, access creation and restoration, wildflower conservation and stone wall building.
