Whilst parts of Ilkley Moor can survive without much intervention at all other parts are very heavily used and require much more support; Victorian features require restoring and footpaths need conserving.
There is also a need for increase awareness and understanding of its significant features so that these can be maintained for future generations to enjoy. Whether you are young or old, rich or poor there are many ways in which you can help. There are plenty of volunteering opportunities either with helping to organise activities and events, carrying out conservation works, and fundraising.
You can also help by becoming a member of the FoIM or by contributing financially.
