Donate

If you wish to financially support much needed conservation work and activity and learning projects up on Ilkley Moor we have a number of simple ways in which you can donate:

Visitor Payback Scheme

The FOIM will be developing a Visitor Payback Scheme (VPS) for Ilkley Moor. The VPS is a voluntary opt in or opt out payment made by visitors to assist with the conservation management of Ilkley Moor. It will provide a source of long-term sustainable funding for the protection and enhancement of the cultural, historical and ecological value of Ilkley Moor.

Please contact the Ilkley Moor Project Officer for further information:

Give As You Earn:

This is a unique way to regularly donate tax free money to charity, as donations are deducted from 'gross pay' through payroll before income tax is applied. The benefit of donating this way is that the scheme costs the donor less, with charities receiving more.

If you would like to find out more information, including a calculator to show how much tax you could save on your donation, or for an application form, please visit the Charities Aid Foundation website.

Please contact the Ilkley Moor Project Officer for further information on donations using Give As You Earn:

In the long term we are considering the setting up of a separate fund for Ilkley Moor. This fund would receive its money in the form of donations and bequests. We aim to invest this money to generate an income for conservation works and activity learning projects to help ensure that Ilkley Moor is financially secure in the long term. We propose to set an initial £1m target for this fund which we aim to reach over a 10 to 15 year period. We hope to have this up and running in 2009.
